21. Write a song about your day

Each day I get up, stand up

Each day I get up, stand up
stand there on the right
side of the bed, where I spend
almost every night

Then I dress up, go out
Get into the car
If my neighbor sees me, he'd shout
Don't give up the bike

Usually I try and omit the usual rush hours
Nevertheless I usually get stuck in traffic jams for hours
People they drive like it's some kind of a race
But never admit that to your face
So when I get to the red light
I know I gotta hang on tight

So when green's up, my foot’s up,
Heads for gas pedal to the right
tire screaming, engine howling
Like a wolf throughout the night

I get up, stand up
Most days of my life
Why so soon the sun’s up
Won’t let there be more night?

Luckily for most days I get to work from home
Thanks may be to Jah I don’t need to roam
I can lie in bed some more sometimes
But I can’t lie in the bed all the time
And thou I need to get right up
My armchair time don’t have to stop

No need to get up, stand up
I don’t have to get and stand up
No need to get up, stand up
Lazy me don’t have to stop
